AE3 is Associate Architect to Arquitectonica on this large-scale multi-use project that includes 350 luxury housing units, 50,000 square feet of retail, and a 200-space subterranean parking garage. The project is located on a prime 2.72 acre site along San Francisco’s waterfront overlooking China Basin and AT&T Park.
The project consists of two high-rise buildings featuring studio, 1, 2, and 3-bedroom flats with resident lounges, fitness center, concierge services, pool, green roofs and bicycle storage. Building R1 includes 200 units in a 182 foot tall, 16-story high rise of Type I construction that employs a post-tensioned concrete frame with GFRC exterior cladding, metal panels and curtain wall glazing system. Building R2 contains 150 units in an 81 foot tall, 7-story high-rise with 4 floors of Type IIIA construction over a 3-story Type I Podium building. High end retail and restaurant spaces anchor the corners of the buildings at ground level enlivening and activating the urban streetscape.
AE3’s role is to provide the design development drawings and construction documents for the interior fit out package including unit plans, common areas, service spaces and circulation. AE3 will also be providing complete construction administration services.
