LAWA

As a 50 / 50 joint venture with its long-term strategic partner Steinberg Hart Architects, AE3 Partners is an on-call architect with Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) and as the designer on the Whiting Turner Design on call design-build Team.  LAWA includes both Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), of the world busiest and top-rated international facilities and Van Nuys, one of the world’s busiest general aviation airports.  LAWA’s recently selected A&E and design-build teams are expected to help LAWA with its ambitious 10 billion capital spend in advance of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

Our team’s first task order will be the renovation of the Imperial Highway corridor. This corridor will become an important part of a visionary, sustainable airport, with the El Segundo neighborhood edge in the South Bay that benefits from the amazing coastal climate and native landscape typologies. These characteristics make this the perfect place to employ the best tools of experiential design in support of the project, and to become a network of vital and vibrant community connections that support the community and users, both now and in the future.
