AE3 is seeking a Designer with 5+ years of experience working at an architectural firm. The ideal candidate is technically proficient and has a minimum of five years actual project experience with Revit. Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Project Manager and other team members on different aspects of the project, including schematic design, space planning, design development, and construction documentation.
• Participate in programming and planning, and the selection of finishes, materials, furniture systems, and specifications.
• Utilize visualization, graphics, and presentation skills to effectively communicate the project design.
• Provide design support and documentation throughout the design phases of the project.
• Provide production assistance for construction documents required for permit and construction.
• Assist in aspects of project coordination with the team and contractors during construction administration.

Postition Duties:
1. Project Planning and Coordination: Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules and timelines. Coordinate and monitor project tasks, ensuring deadlines are met. Facilitate communication among project team members, including architects, engineers, and consultants.
2. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, reports, and presentations. Assist in the preparation of proposals, contracts, and other project-related documents. Track project progress and prepare regular status reports for senior management.
3. Budget and Resource Management: Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets. Monitor project expenses and resource allocation. Support procurement activities, including sourcing materials and negotiating with vendors.
4. Quality Control and Compliance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations. Assist in conducting project reviews and inspections. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
5. Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries and providing project updates. Facilitate client meetings and presentations. Maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
6. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies. Monitor and report on project risks and issues. Assist in resolving project-related conflicts and issues.
Postions Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or related field. Two (2) years experience as a Job Captain (or similar entry level Architect without licensure).
Demonstrated experience in or knowledge of the following:
• Type I, II, and V construction, and low- to mid-rise building types.
• Building systems, constructability, detailing, and accurate documentation in coordinated construction documents.
• Revit (test will be administered) with a proven track record managing production for both Revit- and AutoCAD-based projects.
Rate of Pay: From $89,000 per year. This amount meets or exceeds the prevailing wage as determined by the U. S. Department of Labor. Compensation may vary inside of this range depending on a number of factors, including acandidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the employee’s total compensation package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
