Patelco Credit Union - San Jose Branch

AE3 led multiple tenant improvement projects with Patelco Bank, including the design of their flagship location in San Jose. This 2,897 SF space not only redefined the branch’s interior but also established a comprehensive set of brand standards for Patelco’s future tenant improvements. The project transformed the branch into a contemporary, customer-focused environment that combines functionality with Patelco’s vision of elevated banking experiences.

The design included a complete renovation of key areas such as the reception and member lounge, teller and discovery stations equipped with iPads for self-service, and semi-private offices tailored for personalized consultations. Additional features like the coffee station, media walls, conference rooms, and back-of-house spaces—including an employee lounge, kitchenette, and IT cage—ensured a seamless blend of aesthetics and practicality. AE3 employed premium materials throughout, incorporating custom high-end light fixtures, cultured stone counter frontals, and high-polish large-format porcelain flooring, creating a sophisticated and inviting space that redefines the modern banking environment.
