Venue
As the Associate Architect to Steinberg Hart, AE3 contributed design expertise to a 147-unit multifamily housing development, offering a blend of functionality, sustainability, and community engagement. The project encompasses a mix of unit types, including 14 studios, 92 one-bedroom apartments, 39 two-bedroom units, and 2 two-bedroom lofts. Key amenities include a community center, a landscaped courtyard, a fitness center, two outdoor dining areas, a waterfall feature, a dog wash, and a car wash. Additionally, the development integrates 9,000 SF of retail space and a 147-car parking garage with both ground-level and subterranean levels.
The architectural design showcases a dynamic six-story façade along Fourth Street, transitioning gracefully to five stories, with a glazed retail frontage that creates depth and visual interest. This stepped design fosters a vibrant streetscape and enhances the pedestrian experience. The project is pursuing LEED® Silver certification, incorporating sustainable design principles to align with environmental and energy efficiency goals.
